Arts & Crafts Application | Entry Form

  • Official Rules

    • All items must be handcrafted by the displaying vendor.
    • Booth area is 12’ x 12’ for $40; everything must be contained within this area. Limit of two spaces per vendor
    • One plug will be provided for electricity for each booth. Vendor must provide grounded extension cord.
    • All display material is the responsibility of the exhibitor.
    • Vendor can begin set-up at 10 a.m. & must be completed by 4 p.m., Thurs. June 1, 2017
    • Vendors assume ALL responsibility for loss, theft, or damage.
    • No exhibits may be removed before 10 p.m. on Sat., June 3 **** Please follow this rule.
    • Oklahoma sales tax will be the responsibility of each vendor.
    • Deadline is Tues. May 30, 2017 at 4:30 p.m.
    • No refunds are given for cancellations. ****
    • Show Hours: Thurs. & Fri. – 5-10 p.m. Sat. – 2-10 p.m.

  • do understand that by electronically signing I do hereby fully release & hold harmless the SUMMERFEST 2017, its committee, Wagoner Area Chamber of Commerce, its Board of Directors, and the City of Wagoner from any and all responsibility, claim, causes and action, injuries, judgments, or other charge of any nature whatsoever directly or indirectly caused by the willful or negligent acts of Summerfest 2017. The Wagoner Chamber of Commerce, Summerfest 2017 Committee, and the City of Wagoner shall not be liable for the results of any accident, damage, lost profits, thefts, or any other loss to any person, article, or employee, by or the possession of myself while on the grounds of the Summerfest 2017 festivities, whether such occurs during the time of preparation, for the period of the Summerfest 2017 activities or the removal of equipment or material after the event. By signing, I have read the above release and Official Rules below and agree to abide by them.

DERBY FORMAT & RULES

1. General Fishing Area: The general area shall be the waters of Lake Ft. Gibson only.
2. Duration of Contest: The FISH WAGONER Spring Derby will begin Saturday, April 1, 2017 thru Wednesday, May 31, 2017.
3. Prize Fish Classifications – “Eligible Fish”
CRAPPIE ticket $25.00 must be obtained prior to catching fish for Derby entry.
Any Crappie over 10 inches caught by angling (Rod and Reel) within the designated fishing area by a qualified FISH WAGONER Spring Derby contestant may be entered for judging subject to all other Derby regulations. Crappie must be alive at weight in. All fish shall be weighed, photographed with ticket holder and photo of weight at one of the designated locations. Photos emailed to chamber@thecityofwagoner.org In case of tie the winner will be determined by the first date fish was weighted and recorded. A polygraph may be required by the winners.
CATFISH ticket $25.00 must be obtained prior to catching fish for Derby entry.
Any Catfish caught by angling (Rod and Reel) within the designated fishing area by a qualified FISH WAGONER Spring Derby contestant may be entered for judging subject to all other Derby Rules. Catfish must be alive at weight in. All fish shall be weighed, photographed with ticket holder and photo of weight at one of the designated locations. Photos emailed to chamber@thecityofwagoner.org . In case of tie the winner will be determined by the first date fish was weighted and recorded. A POLYGRAPH may be required by the winners.
4. Conditions and Means of Contest: Any holder of a Derby ticket for which he or she has paid the sum of $25.00, shall be entitled to have his or her catch recorded for the purpose of the content subject to all regulations of the FISH WAGONER Spring Derby.
5. Prize: Prizes will be for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places. Prizes will be awarded for the largest fish by weight caught by a qualified FISH WAGONER Spring Derby contestant. Prize will be determined by the amount of tickets sold. Up to 50% of the total sale of tickets for each category CRAPPIE or CATFISH will be provided as a prize for each category.
6. Weight Locations: Sequoyah Bay Area: Cypress Cove Marina, Taylor Ferry Area: Crooked Hook Store, Paradise Cove Marina , Toppers Area: Toppers Store Whitehorn Area: Whitehorn Marina
7 RULES & JUDGING Procedures:
a. All entry tickets must be obtained prior to catching any fish that the contestant intends to enter in the Derby.
b. Contestants may enter as many fish as they want for judging.
c. Judges shall have the right to verify that fish are/were legally caught. The decision of the judges is final. Any fish found to be caught illegally will be disqualified. Constantans are responsible for verification of weight of fish at the time of weighting.
d. Tie Breaker for Prizes. If two fish the same weight are turned in, the prize will go to the fish that was submitted first by date of recorded weight.
e. All fish must be weighted while alive.
f. All fish must be angled, caught by “Rod and Reel”. Fish caught by any other means will not be eligible for submission for weight and recording for this fishing derby.
g. Constants are responsible for their own safety, actions, and property, at all times. All laws of the State of Oklahoma will be abided by at all times.
h. Contestant prizes are the responsibility of the winners: Licensing, registration, transportation, taxes, and all incidental or consequential expenses incurred are the sole responsibility of the winners.
i. Prizes: Winners will be notified by the Wagoner Chamber of Commerce. There will be a check presentation to the winners at the Wagoner SUMMERFEST on June 3, 2017. If you are unable to attend in person please make arrangements with Chamber Director at 918-485-3414.
j. Failure to comply with any contest rules subjects contestants to be disqualification and removal from competition, as determined by contest officials. Right to refuse to sell and/or revoke competition ticket to anyone is hereby reserved.
k. There will be a leader board on the Wagoner Chamber of Commerce web site. All efforts will be made to keep the board up to date and accurate. Derby results remain unofficial until verified by Derby committee and required POLYGRAPH completed.
l. All contestants and others hereby consent to the Wagoner Chamber of Commerce the use of any names, photographs or likenesses of themselves to be used in promotion of our contest/derby, including but not limited to print, radio, television, or any other media.
m. We thank you for supporting our efforts to protect our Lake Ft. Gibson environment we request that you do not deposit cigarette butts or other refuge in the lake.

We would like to invite you to be a part of our 2017 Christmas Parade and help us celebrate the Christmas Season.
This will be a lighted Christmas Parade and ALL ENTRIES MUST HAVE LIGHTS ON THEM.

THEME: TO BE ANNOUNCED

PRIZE: PLAQUES AWARDED FOR THE FIRST 3 PLACES IN EACH CATEGORY CASH AWARDS WILL BE GIVEN TO THE TOP FLOATS.

RULES: ONLY THE OFFICIAL “SANTA CLAUS” PARTICIPATES IN THE PARADE & HE IS PROVIDED BY THE CHAMBER.

**MUST HAVE THE DETAILS OF ENTRY WRITTEN ON APPLICATION FORM FOR THE MC TO READ ALOUD ENTRY NUMBERS YOUR ENTRY WILL RECEIVE A NUMBER CORRESPONDING WITH YOUR POSITION IN THE PARADE.**

IF ENTRY IS TO BE JUDGED THIS NUMBER IS TO BE ON AN 11 BY 14 SIZE POSTER BOARD ATTACHED TO YOUR ENTRY ON THE LEFT FRONT SIDE.

CALL THE CHAMBER NO LATER THAN 5 P.M. ON WEDNESDAY, NOV. 30, 2016 TO GET YOUR ENTRY NUMBER. WE WON’T BE ABLE TO INFORM YOU UNTIL IN THE AFTERNOON.

LINEUP: THE LINEUP WILL BEGIN AT THE INTERSECTION OF E. CHEROKEE & N. STORY ST. ACROSS FROM THE DONUT SHOP.

THE ENTRIES WILL BE LINED UP ALONG N. STORY ST. HEADING SOUTH. THE ROUTE WILL GO WEST ON CHEROKEE & TURN SOUTH ON S. MAIN ST., GO ONE BLOCK AND TURN EAST ONTO CHURCH ST. THE PARADE WILL DISBURSE IN THE PARKING LOT OF THE METHODIST CHURCH ACROSS FROM THE WAGONER POST OFFICE & CITY HALL

HORSES: ANY AND ALL ENTRIES WITH HORSES WILL BE POSITIONED AT THE VERY END OF THE PARADE BEHIND THE FLOAT CARRYING M/M SANTA CLAUS. NO EXCEPTIONS.
